Haiti Relief - Calvin Ayre calls for help from online gambling industry.

Founder of online gambling giant Bodog, Calvin Ayre, has appealed to all in the online gambling industry to come to the aid of disaster struck Haiti, by providing financial assistance and thus helping with the relief efforts that are on-going in the country.

In recent posts on his blog, Ayre states that he has donated £10,000 to the UK based Oxfam.

Making his feelings clear in his posts, Ayre has lashed out in disgust at the ruling elite in Haiti who have driven the country into poverty, while lining their own pockets. His hope is that the online gambling community will come forward and help with this worthy cause, further stating that everyone making money has a duty to help. The Calvin Ayre Foundation has pledged to match any donations made by anyone in the online gambling community, up to $1,000,000.
